My wife, daughter and I went bowling the other day as a way to get out of the house during school vacation and to do something as a family. We visited the Lighthouse for some GlowBowl at Leda Lanes in Nashua New Hampshire. This is a an interesting place because much of the interior is colored in iridescent colors to leverage the black lights used light the bowling area. Electronic scoreboards and automatic lane bumpers allows for a hassle-free time for the family. Bowl more often!

All I Want for Christmas
I can’t believe Christmas is just three days away. I feel like I’m just getting rid of the heartburn from Thanksgiving and here we are with the biggest shopping season of the year almost over.
I had a hard time coming up with a Christmas list this year. My stereo receiver aside, I have not had any epic technology failures this year and I’ve got all the “i” products one should need for a while (though I wouldn’t turn down AppleTV at this point). I am looking forward to some “me” time once the project I am engaged in at work starts to ramp down a bit towards the end of next week. Perhaps some unexpected tickets to a movie or sporting event or even a gift certificate to a nice restaurant. Yeah, I can always use those. Tailgating tools are a staple for this New England Patriots fan. Some new clothes for the guy who buys them only occasionally.
This is all to say that those looking for gift ideas for me, and you know who you are, you’re going to need to be creative this year.
Merry Christmas!
Tebow Time is Over!
After all of the press coverage last week about Tim Tebow’s miraculous season, and how he would keep things rolling against the Patriots, the gang from New England went into Mile-High stadium and showed the AFC West-leading Broncos how things are done in the East. I, for one, expected a high scoring game, and after the first quarter, had my doubts about the Patriots defense holding up for 4 quarters. In the end, the high-powered offense led the team to victory while the defense and special teams remained advantageous when the ball was on the ground or when the Broncos committed when of their numerous penalties.
Now the Patriots come home for the remaining two games of the season as AFC East division champions. Go Pats!
